IAN MCEWAN is one of the most acclaimed contemporary British novelists. He is the author of numerous internationally bestselling works, including Atonement (Jonathan Cape, 2001), Enduring Love (Jonathan Cape, 1997), Saturday (Jonathan Cape, 2005), On Chesil Beach (Jonathan Cape, 2007), and Lessons (Jonathan Cape, 2022). He received the Booker Prize for Amsterdam (Jonathan Cape, 1998) and has been shortlisted for the award several times. His novels have been translated into more than thirty languages, and several have been adapted for film.
